SUZANNE LUKE

Suzanne Luke holds a BFA in Art and Art History from the University of Toronto and a MA in Communication Studies from Wilfrid Laurier University. During her tenure as University Curator at Wilfrid Laurier University, she has articulated and implemented an innovative and diverse vision for ongoing scholarship around contemporary and Indigenous art practices.

Luke is actively involved in the cultural section and has nurtured a solid reputation as an arts advocate and community leader. A forward thinking she is dedicated to guiding artists and helping to develop their careers. As an independent curator and art consultant, Luke is devoted to art education and advising her clients to reach their goals of starting or expanding their art collection. A past Board Member of Arts Awards Waterloo Region, her curatorial expertise and guidance has been sought out by organizations such as the Ontario College of Art and Design, Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics, WalterFedy, Region of Waterloo Public Art Program, BOX Art Show & Sale, the Homer Watson House and Gallery and the Centre for International Governance Innovation.
